Private tution

I have a number of options for private tuition. The majority of my students are taught in my studio, but I am also able to arrange online lessons and mobile lessons using my electric drum kit. I've detailed the approaches below.

Private teaching in the studio

I bring a relaxed and personalised touch to my teaching. My goal is to make sure everyone feels right at home in my studio. Whether you’re looking to prepare for gradings, learn some cool beats to jam with your friends, or dive into different styles and jam along to music here, I’ve got you covered. I’m all about finding an approach that fits us both perfectly, making sure you enjoy every step of your drumming journey. I always welcome song suggestions from students and am more than happy to work with you on beats you have already written.

I have spent the majority of my drumming years writing original material and I tend to teach with this in mind. For me it is essential that everything we learn can be put into practice, although I understand the importance of exercises I also do not want students spending hours working on paradiddles in the studio when they can be learning new beats!

I have students from 6 years old right up to 52 years old and drummers from beginner level through to advanced. Everyone is welcome here!

Mobile Teaching

I am able to bring my electric kit to your choice of location, this works particularly well if people are unable to leave the house, work from home or struggle for transport. The kit is small and easy to transport, it doesn't take up much space when set up. Obviously there are limitations and nothing replaces the feel and dynamics of a real acoustic kit but it is certainly a great starting point!
