Welcome to the Lab!

My name is Kris and I've been a drummer for over 25 years. I have an Enhanced DBS and am fully insured. I teach privately at my studios in Burbage as well as offering Mobile Lessons for those that are unable to travel. I also offer workshops for groups of all ages as well team building exercises for companies. If you have any questions or want to know more then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Currently I teach on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays @ Hinckley Studios. Listed below is the current availability, please ensure you get in touch as these times can go very quickly:

Monday:

4pm, 430pm - Hour or Half hour slots.

5pm, 530pm - Hour or Half hour slots.

Tuesdays:

Fully Booked.

Thursdays:

4-430pm - Half Hour Slot

5-530 - Half Hour Slot

Private Teaching

Want to learn to play the drums and learn some cool songs along the way? Then you have found the right place. My aim is to get my students into playing songs as quickly as possible. I mainly teach metal, rock, funk and blues. I also teach gradings from the Trinity and Rockschool books and have a huge selection of titles.

Here's some examples of artists that my students have been learning recently:

Limp Bizkit, Deftones, ACDC, System of a Down, The Kinks, The Specials, Toto, Tool, Metallica, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Deep Purple, Type O Negative and many more.

I teach at my studios in Burbage, Leicestershire. I can help with gradings, learning new songs and styles, helping to develop your own beats in a relaxed and fun environment!

mobile teaching

I also provide mobile teaching lessons. This is perfect if you're unable to travel to me. I bring an electric kit and speaker and ensure its not too loud so as to annoy any neighbours! Please feel free to get in touch and set up a lesson with me.
